Cache Energy and LOOC Nederland Announce Strategic Partnership to Accelerate Electrified Heat and Long-Duration Thermal Storage Across Europe
Cache Energy partners with LOOC Nederland B.V. to jointly develop and deploy electrified heat and thermal energy storage solutions across European markets, targeting roughly 200 MW of combined deployment opportunity.

Cache Energy Storage Inc. ("Cache"), a leading developer and manufacturer of long-duration thermal energy storage systems, today announced a strategic partnership with LOOC Nederland B.V. ("LOOC"), a technology and energy management company, to jointly develop and deploy electrified heat and thermal energy storage solutions across European markets.
Through this collaboration, Cache and LOOC will combine their complementary strengths to accelerate the adoption and scale of Cache's long-duration thermal energy storage and industrial heat electrification solutions. The companies estimate approximately 200 MW of potential combined deployment opportunities across Europe in the next few years.
Together, Cache and LOOC make electrified heat and long-duration thermal energy storage simple for industrial customers to install, finance, and operate. By integrating technology supply, project development, financing, regulatory coordination, and operational support into a single delivery model, the partnership reduces project complexity and accelerates deployment.
Under the partnership, LOOC will support Cache on project development, regulatory coordination, financing structuring, system integration, and post-commissioning operations across European markets.
"Cache stands out for the simplicity and robustness of its thermal storage platform. The ability to deliver long-duration heat storage using abundant, non-toxic materials makes their solution highly attractive for European industries. We were particularly impressed by Cache's deployment track record and its practical approach to integration. Together, we can offer our clients a credible and scalable pathway to electrify heat," said Tony van Velzen, CEO of LOOC Nederland B.V.
"LOOC aims to help industries become more sustainable while reducing their dependency on gas in an affordable way. The first Cache installation in Europe is planned at one of LOOC's existing customers, an aluminium company in the Netherlands," van Velzen added.
"We see strong demand across Europe for scalable, long-duration storage solutions that enable industrial heat electrification and deeper renewable integration," said Arpit Dwivedi, Founder of Cache. "At Cache, we make seamless integration a priority, ensuring our systems fit into existing operations with no disruption and uncompromising reliability. Partnering with LOOC strengthens our ability to execute quickly alongside a trusted local development partner, enabling customers to deploy with speed, precision, and confidence."
As European industries accelerate their decarbonization efforts, the partnership will deliver reliable, cost-effective electrified heat and long-duration energy storage at scale.
